The Gruffalo is one of the most creative story i've ever read or watch..at least for me...written by Julia Donaldson, the story uses a very simple plot but gave a very significant impact to the readers. it is about a mouse walking in a very deep dark wood and met with his enemy who wanted to eat him. he create a fake beast, the Gruffalo and described it as a very dangerous animal..it made his enemy, fox, owl and snake became scared of him..
it is a very suitable story for children of the age of 2-5 years old...the language that was use was very interesting...with the repetition of some sentence, i will make the readers to grasp and then follow the sentence... the rhythmic language will make the children to follow the rhythm and unconsciously they learn the new vocabularies...
even me, in this age...i enjoyed reading this story...i wonder..if i have the opportunity to read it when i was children...=D
